Data Analyst

Full Time (Remote)

Responsibilities

  • Full ownership of the game analysis cycle: define, investigate, analyze, and test game events. Perform initial quality assurance checks. Visualize results.
  • Analyzing large, complex data sets that represent players and their behavior to address strategic and operational business questions.
  • Recommendations from game data about what features should be built, how the game economy should evolve, and future product roadmaps
  • Build the tools and dashboards to facilitate a company-wide understanding of business KPIs and player experience.
  • Identify and communicate the key trends and potential development improvements
  • Collaborate with the stakeholders to drive insights that will help improve monetization and retention.
  • Manage multiple projects at a time in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Fluency in English
  • A methodological approach for data with the ability to present the data clearly and efficiently to support business decisions.
  • Proven track record in designing, and maintaining data infrastructure.
  • Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excel/Google spreadsheet skills, including pivot tables.
  • Proficient knowledge of SQL
  • Query and evaluate data to understand player behavior and interests in relation to game features
  • An ability to effectively communicate data results and related conclusions
  • A team player with excellent initiative and motivation
  • A great sense of organization and problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills that would serve to work efficiently in a remote working setup
  • Willingness to continuously learn, adapt and operate

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in the gaming industry
  • Experience with Python
  • Experience with Tableau or similar SaaS.
  • Experience with BigQuery
  • Advanced knowledge of statistical tools and models (R, SAS, advanced statistical tools)
