People & Talent Manager

People & Talent Manager will work with the leadership team to support Multiplayer in achieving an employee-focused culture and to maintain our “family” environment. The People and Talent function within Multiplayer is responsible for ensuring that we recruit the right people and help them grow in their roles, while actively managing the people strategy for the future.

People & Talent Manager will be responsible for maintaining a warm family environment while improving HR processes and career development throughout the organization. The role is responsible for the overall management and development of all HR aspects for Multiplayer, including Recruitment and Selection, Learning and Development, Talent Management, Compensation, and Benefits positioning, and Employee Relations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Nurture the corporate culture through core values
  • Build a performance-driven, employee-focused culture
  • Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned to the business objectives
  • Manage general HR matters and the day-to-day operation of the HR function such as communications, adherence to policies and guidelines, and performance management
  • Responsible for the recruitment strategy for Multiplayer, including interviews, tasks, and candidate feedback
  • Manage effectively recruitment budget
  • Devise and develop a company training program
  • Management of appraisal program
  • HR support for performance management
  • Manage the 3rd party relationships as well as direct sourcing positions
  • Ensure the staff contracts and handbook are up to date

Required Skills and Experience

  • Knowledge and experience in introducing new ideas to improve employee engagement and HR processes
  • Implementation of performance management and development approaches
  • Proven organizational skills, work well on their own, able to set and meet deadlines with quality results
  • Human Resources Management degree or related subject
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • A strong command of both written and spoken English is required
  • Enthusiastic and positive personality with the ability to build trusting relationships with others
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
